Join Instructor Suzanne Balestri for a fun day in the glass studio at Fallbrook School of the Arts creating fused glass art that YOU want to create. The sky’s the limit with options such as wall vases, coasters, trays, plates, decorative tiles, etc.
New to warm glass art? No problem. Suzanne begins with a “Fusing 101” lesson and glass cutting demonstration. Plus, you’ll receive video links to demonstrations prior to the class so you can become familiar with several techniques before getting to work. If you’ve taken a fused glass class previously, this is a great opportunity to hone your skills and challenge yourself! You’ll have access to a large selection of glass and embellishments, and project ideas and templates will be provided for those who desire a more structured format. You are welcome to create art that requires additional firing (slumping) to result in curved glass art.
Note: There is an additional $15 cash-only supply / slumping fee due at the workshop. Long pants and closed-toe shoes recommended. Your glass art will be kiln-fired after class and ready for pick up at FSA in approximately one week, or you can arrange for your completed project to be shipped to you.
Class Fee: $105
Supply Fee: $15 cash-only supply fee due at time of workshop to Instructor
