Adorn your walls, windows, and even fences with cheerful pocket vases created by your own hands. These water-tight vases are wonderful for flower cuttings, dried flowers, herbs, incense sticks, or just left plain. You will be shown how to use thick fiber paper to create the form for the “pocket” of your vase and how to embed the chain hooks within your design. You will be guided as needed in glass cutting techniques and design considerations. Each student will have approximately 8” x 8” of space in the kiln so 1-2 vases can be made. There is a cash-only $10 special materials fee (for hooks, chain, and fiber paper) due on day of workshop. Beginners welcome!
All tools and glass is provided. This workshop is recommended for 14yrs+ or 12yrs+ if accompanied by an adult. Bring your mom, daughter, or a friend! Space is limited.
$95 per student + $10 cash only materials fee due at workshop.
Your project will be fired in the school kiln and ready to pick up within a week. If you are not local, other arrangements can be made to get your kiln-fired project to you.
